Ski in the Dolomites

The ski region of Alta Badia lies between 4,600 and 7,200 ft above sea level and between November and April each year the conditions are ideal for winter sports. A comfortable and fast network of lifts, well-prepared pistes and long ski runs offer a pleasant and safe skiing experience. The quality and variety of the Alta Badia ski area is recognised by international professional skiers and each year the famous "Gran Risa" black run plays host to World Cup races.

If that isn't enough to tempt you, eight days out of ten of sunshine, ethnic mountain refuges and fine mountain restaurants all combine to make Alta Badia a ski region for ski connoisseurs. What's more, skiers can fill up on hearty meals in the kitchen of the family-run mountain guesthouse Pralongià.

In Alta Badia you'll find:

As a member of the Dolomiti SuperSki network there are more than 1200 kilometres (750 miles) of pistes available to our guests. The legendary "Sella Ronda" - a circular tour around the Sella Massif peak - should feature on any itinerary. With four ski areas on one pass, there are limitless options to explore and they're all directly accessible from Corvara.

Fantastic location: our hotel is situated only 400 metres from the two most important constructions in Corvara, the cable railways Col Alto and Boè. That means that the pistes end just 50 metres from the hotel. Go ahead for skiing!
